I notice sentence structure…

When I read I will notice short sentences and name the nouns and verbs used.

I describe vocabulary … 

I can name an object and talk about how it moves using precise verbs.  

Before

writing workshops we chose a writing workshop to go in. There was narrative and poetry. I chose poetry because I like to rhyme things and I wanted to carry on learning about poetry.This term I have been learning about poetry with Mr Wallace. We went outside to find an Autumn object. We smelt,listened,touched and looked around to find something autumy.Then we came in to brainstorm words about Autumn. We looked up words to do with Autumn. Then we drew a sketch of our object and rote a poem about Autumn. Mr Wallace taught us about sketching so we didn't stuff it up. We edited it by checking our spelling and then coloured it in and added in a poem that we rote. Then we took a photo of our drawing. We used our iPads to put it on blogger.
